Local 44’s Sustainability Mission Statement: Our aim is to revolutionize the Film/TV and commercial production industry by addressing environmental challenges head-on. With the Producers Guild of America's call to action to cut carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, we're committed to leading the charge towards a sustainable future.

As dedicated committee members, we're on a mission to raise awareness and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of production, from building sets to discarding fabrics. By educating ourselves and our Local members on alternative solutions and integrating sustainability measures both on and off camera, we're paving the way for a sustainable transformation.

Through education, community engagement, and collaboration with industry partners, we're striving to make sustainability the new normal. Together, we'll transform mindsets, inspire action, and set sustainable production standards industry-wide.
